Rachel Brosnahan joins Anthony Ramos (In the Heights) in the comedy sci-fi film Distant. The story tells of an asteroid miner who must fight the challenges of the new environment after a crash-landing on a strange planet, trying to cross the harsh terrain to find the only survivor, a woman trapped in an escape pod. The film is directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon, the directors of Ice Blade, and written by Spencer Cohen. It will start shooting next month.
