The film tells the story of a little girl named Feifei's journey to the moon. Feifei grew up listening to her mother's love story about Chang'e and Houyi. She firmly believes that Chang'e is the embodiment of eternal true love. A few years after her mother's death, her father was preparing to remarry, which hit Feifei hard. In order to defend her family and prove to her father that Chang'e is still waiting for Houyi on the moon forever and that the eternal true love she represents is real, Feifei made a "rocket ship" by herself and started a wonderful journey to the moon.
