This drama is adapted from Xing Ling's novel "Bai Shuo Shang Shen". The mortal girl Bai Shuo (played by Bai Lu) accidentally met the demon god Fan Yue (played by Ao Ruipeng) on her way to find immortals to repay her gratitude. The two did not know each other until they started a strange journey together, fighting evil monsters and eliminating evil demons together. From using each other to falling in love, they run towards each other in both directions, with sweet and cruel stories intertwined, and growth inspirational.
