The play tells the story of Jiang Hanshu who went to Shen Qixuan's company to apply for an assistant position because of her mother's illness. At first, Shen Qixuan did not agree, but was moved by Jiang Hanshu's filial piety and hired her, and gradually fell in love with her. After experiencing the hardships of her mother's alienation and Jiang Hanshu's mother's serious illness, the two finally became partners.
