Netflix has won the global distribution rights to the thriller Windfall starring Jason Segel, Lily Collins and Jesse Plemons. It is reported that the transaction amount is as high as eight figures in US dollars. The film is directed by Lily's fiancé Charlie McDowell, McDowell and Segel created the story, and Justin Rider (The One and Only) and Andrew Kevin Walker (Seven Deadly Sins) co-wrote the script. The film is a Hitchcockian thriller about a young couple who arrive at their vacation home only to find that it has been robbed. The film was completed earlier this year.
