Alex and Shama are a young couple who are heading to the center of Bosnia and Herzegovina when their car breaks down in the forest. They decide to seek help from a nearby village. On the way, Shama, a Muslim survivor of the Balkan war, begins to suspect that a mysterious force is following them. Alex, a confident and cheerful young European, tries to get Shama to let go of these fantasies; but Shama clings to her Muslim amulet "Hamaliya", causing a mysterious force to gradually emerge from the forest...
