In the early years of the Republic of China, Sun Yicheng, a medical graduate student who returned from overseas, came to Misty Town to deliver medical supplies for epidemic prevention to the local clinic. Unexpectedly, on that day, the quarantine area and the town were attacked by monsters one after another. In order to protect the survivors, Sun Yicheng and Dr. Zuo worked together to successfully kill the monster. Dr. Zuo also finally found a formula to cure the plague, proving that the plague is a disease, not a curse as superstitious people say.
